Best practices: keep each tour focussed on a clear outcome

Don't try to teach everything about your product in a single tour. That's like asking someone to read and digest the whole user manual before touching a new gadget.ย

Instead focus on small bitesized chunks of education and limit one tour to ONE very specific goal. This could be:

  • Open a certain page

  • Click on a certain button

  • Complete a single key action

Ensure you're clear about your objective ๐ŸŽฏ before you start creating the tour, as this will help you stay focussed on just this primary goal.ย

You can define and measure this goal within Chameleon using our 'goals' functionality.ย

NEXT: Keep it short & simple ๐Ÿ’‹ ย
