SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a specific protocol used for implementing Single Sign-On (SSO). SAML SSO enables the exchange of authentication and authorization data between an identity provider (idP) and a service provider (SP). This allows access to multiple web applications using one set of login credentials.
