Fivetran is a low-code ELT tool that pulls data out of hundreds of sources and loads it into destinations, to enable teams to access centralized data for better, more informed decisions. Use Fivetran to send Chameleon properties & events to your warehouse and better understand what drives your product's success.

By enabling this integration you can leverage your Chameleon data down the line, to better understand how users engage with your product guidance and improve how you deliver it.

To configure the Fivetran integration, you'll need to add a Chameleon API token to Fivetran to enable the data sync. You can view and manage your API tokens from the Chameleon Dashboard.

πŸ‘‰ Learn more about the Chameleon API in this Overview or from our Developer Hub.

Here are the steps to set it up:

First, go to the Fivetran Integrations page in your Chameleon Dashboard to copy your API token for Fivetran.

Next, move on to finish the configuration in Fivetran.

As we're moving to enable a two-way native integration with Fivetran, you can finish configuring Chameleon on this page. First, pick a Destination schema and then paste in the API token you just copied.

Hit Save & Test and you can further pick how you want to sync your data.

Next up, you'll be able to review your data schema and confirm the data you want to sync further with Fivetran. Finally, start your sync and your Chameleon data will start to flow in. You'll also see the confirmation in Chameleon.

πŸ’‘ Get the full Data Schema to see all the data you can sync from Chameleon to Fivetran.

Use Fivetran to send Chameleon data to your stack and use it to understand how your product guidance efforts impact your adoption and goals.

Here are some behaviors you can consider analyzing outside Chameleon:

  • onboarding Tour impact on adoption

  • product updates engagements

  • new users' ease of use

  • self-serve efficiency

πŸ’‘ Any Experience you create in Chameleon should follow a clear goal that enables you to connect it with your brand goals.
