How to add a progress indicator to Tours?

To add an automatic progress indicator for your Tour Steps, click on the "Progress" button in the Design section of the Builder. This will add the progress indicator to all Steps in your Tour and you can further configure it:

  • Choose a type -- pick from different styles (text, breadcrumbs, links, chain, bar)

  • Pick the placement -- top or bottom position

  • Update the color

The progress indicator will be placed on your Step in a few different ways, depending on the position you pick for your buttons:

  • when you have buttons that are not full-width, the progress indicator is placed on the same row as your buttons, on the opposite side.

  • when you have 2 buttons positioned on the left and right side of the Step, the progress indicator is placed under your buttons in a centered position.

  • when you have full-width buttons (1 or 2), the progress indicator is placed under your buttons in a centered position.

  • when you have no buttons on your Step, the progress indicator will be placed at the bottom of your canvas in a centered position.

β„Ή We track Tour progress on a per-browser basis, so your users can not continue a Tour that they've already started (but not engaged with) on a different browser.
