Insights answers: is this working, what did users engage with, and where are they struggling? It has four tabs:
Insights: a dashboard you build from the metrics you choose
Session: what an individual user did, in plain language
Friction: where users ran into trouble, detected for you
Ranger: your account kept tidy

Insights: the numbers you care about
Build your dashboard out of existing blocks and always check the data that matters most to you. To choose your metrics: click Add blocks, pick the ones you want, and Update Dashboard. You can update the blocks whenever you want or reorder them on the page.
Here are the blocks you can use to build your Insights page:
Experiences live: know what's in front of users right now, broken down by type
Monthly tracked users: keep an eye on your MTUs and how they're trending
Experiences leaderboard: see which Experiences are carrying the weight
Favorites Experiences: pin to the top and watch the ones that matter most
User retention: find out how Chameleon is impacting user retention
Activity Feed: see what your team changed recently without having to ask
NPS: track sentiment next to everything else (only if you're running NPS)
(Coming soon) Friction summary: see how much friction is open versus resolved
Your Experiences Leaderboard ranks by Starts, Completions, or Goals, filtered to one Experience type over a time range you choose, so you can tell a popular Experience from an effective one.
User retention compares return rates for users who engaged with an Experience against those who didn't. It needs at least 200 users in each group before it will report.
Activity Feed is a summary. For the full account log (including everything Copilot did), go to Governance → Logs.
Sessions: why, not just how many
Visit the Sessions to see what a user was trying to do, written as a narrative rather than a list of clicks. Filter by Segment, Feature, and date range, from the last 7 days to all time.
👉 Filter to the Feature you just shipped, read five sessions, and you can see what that user experiences and did.
Friction: challenges surfaced for you
Friction Reports surface where users are running into trouble across your product, detected automatically over the last 14 days. You can filter by Kind, Feature, and Classification to narrow down to the part of the product you're working on.
👉 Friction tells you where. Read a few Sessions for the same Feature to learn why before acting.
Ranger: your account is kept clean
Ranger scans your account and proposes the housekeeping nobody might round to: publishing forgotten changes, archiving stale Experiences, renaming inconsistent ones, clearing inactive teammates, and unused domains. You approve; it acts, and you can also enable "Autopilot" for specific jobs.
Where the data comes from
Your Insights blocks run on your own Chameleon data: Experiences published, users tracked, goals reached.
Sessions and Friction are powered by Compass, which reads behavior in your product without you having to instrument events. Both get much sharper once you've confirmed your Features list, because that's how Compass knows what parts of your product matter most.
Ranger reads your account (your Experiences, Segments, domains, styles, etc.) and suggests fixes based on what it detects.
