The Dashboard is your central hub for managing everything in Chameleon. This is where you configure and publish Experiences, manage your audiences, review performance, and control account settings.

πŸ‘‰ Access the Dashboard at app.chameleon.io. You'll need a company account to log in.

What's in the Dashboard?

The Dashboard is organized into sections accessible from the left-side navigation:

Section

What do you configure in the Dashboard vs. the Builder?

The Dashboard and Builder handle different parts of building an Experience. As a rule, on-page configurations or step settings happen in the Builder; targeting, publishing, and performance happen in the Dashboard. Here's a breakdown of the steps you'll do in the Dashboard vs the Builder:

Dashboard

Builder

Create new Experiences

Configure Steps β€” position on the page, content, button actions, media

Set audience targeting (Segments)

Set Element and URL display Rules

Configure Goals and Rate Limits

Set Triggers (click, hover, delay)

Publish or schedule an Experience

Preview how an Experience looks to users

Review analytics and A/B test results

Adjust and Preview A/B Variants or Localized Experiences in multiple languages.

Set Environments (staging/production)

Adjust styling (Themes or Templates)

β„Ή Copilot can configure most of these settings for you automatically via Dashboard conversations. See "How do I build my first Experience with Copilot?" (this article) to learn how.

How do I navigate between Experiences?

From any Experience page (e.g., Tours, Microsurveys), you can filter by status, tag, or Environment to find what you need. Status labels show whether an Experience is live, drafted, paused, or has unpublished edits waiting to be applied.

To navigate to specific Experiences, use CMD+K (Mac) or CTRL+K (Windows) to open the HelpBar from anywhere in the Dashboard and jump directly to any Experience, Segment, or settings page.

You can also access HelpBar in the Builder via the "Jump to" option and open a different Experience or navigate to the Dashboard.
