In-app copy needs to hit the right spot — too long and users tune out, too vague, and they don't act. Copilot helps you get it right faster. Use it in the Builder to improve existing Step copy or generate new content from a help article or prompt. Then let it review your live Experiences and tell you exactly what to fix.

How does Copilot help with content?

Copilot gives you three ways to work faster and write better in-app copy:
Improve existing copy in the Builder — Copilot rewrites what you've already written to be clearer, more engaging, and on-brand.
Generate new copy in the Builder — Paste a help article link, and Copilot turns it into ready-to-use Experience copy from scratch.
Review Copilot suggestions in the Dashboard — After you publish a Tour or Embeddable, Copilot analyzes your live content and surfaces specific observations and actions to improve engagement.
Improve existing copy with Copilot
When you have existing copy in a Title or Body component that needs tightening, select the component and click Improve text at the bottom of the panel. This opens the Copilot panel.

Additional Instructions (optional) — Tell Copilot how to improve it. For example: "Make it more concise", "Rewrite for a non-technical audience", or "Match a friendly, direct tone."
Click Improve text.
Copilot rewrites your existing copy, which you can insert directly or generate again. You can continue editing the text in the Builder after you insert it too.
👉 Without additional instructions, Copilot will apply general best practices for in-app copy (clarity, brevity, engagement). Add instructions when you have a specific goal in mind.
Generate content with Copilot in the Builder
Select any Title or Body component and click Generate text at the bottom of the panel to open the Copilot panel.
From here:
Content to summarize — Paste a link (e.g., a help article URL) or type in the text you want Copilot to summarize into Experience copy.
Additional Instructions (optional) — Add context, direction, or constraints. For example: "Keep it to one sentence" or "Focus on the time-saving benefit."
Click Generate text.
Copilot will produce a suggestion you can insert directly or prompt it to generate again. You can also edit the text in the Builder after you insert it.
Review Copilot suggestions in the Dashboard
📍 Available for Tours and Embeddables that are "Live" or "Edited".
After publishing a Tour or Embeddable, head to the configuration page in the Dashboard. You'll find a Copilot suggestion panel above the Review & Publish panel.
Each suggestion includes:
An Observation -- What Copilot identified as a gap or opportunity in your Experience content
An Action -- A specific, implementable recommendation to address it
Click Improve with Copilot to act on the suggestion immediately and see identify other optimizations.
ℹ Copilot suggestions are based on in-app best practices and engagement benchmarks. Each suggestion is specific to your Experience's existing content.
